Phillip Island is a beautiful place to spend a holiday. There is so much happening all the time, that a day trip is never enough. Let’s talk about the A Maze’N Things theme park that`ll run your little ones ragged.
And what about the penguins–the fairy variety–that come ashore at dusk and make their way to their burrows? The motor bikes, the beaches. Maybe have a think about the festivals and special events. Not to mention the whales, seals and koalas–the list is endless.
With so much to do, you need somewhere special to stay and A Maze‘N Things Holiday Park and Motel easily delivers that. The caravan park and motel, situated on 10 acres of bushland, offers self-contained accommodation for families of all sizes.
You can camp beneath trees on grass at powered or unpowered sites no matter whether you`re travelling with a caravan, motorhome, camper trailer or tent.
Best of all, this leafy oasis is centrally-located, with activities galore next door.
A Maze’N Things Holiday Park and Motel caters for active adults and kids young and old.
Sweat it out on one of four tennis courts on-site, two basketball courts or in the swimming pool (seasonal). Or the kids let off steam in the playground and well-maintained games room.
Within it, find a beautiful billiard table, air hockey, vintage and Daytona-style arcade games.
The park camp kitchen is well-kitted out and it has a commercial sized wood-fired pizza oven, nice idea. Free Wi-Fi is also available for park guests.
Larger crews really can flock together at A Maze’N Things Holiday Park and Motel, thanks to the modern three bedroom villas that sleep up to eight.
Within them you’ll find two sets of bunks, two single beds and a queen bed with modern kitchen and bathroom amenities. Floating floorboards add a touch of class while a large, pleasing patio sets you up for a casual afternoon sampling local fare.
Options exist for smaller families and couples, too, with different cabin sizes to choose from. Or, if you’re on a budget, the clean motel suites are freshly painted and kitted out with an ensuite, toaster and kettle.
This is one park that can honestly say, we do have more, a lot more just around the corner. Because the Rusty Waters Brewery, A Maze’N Things and the Koala Conservation Centre are right there for you to enjoy.
They are all owned and operated independently to the Holiday Park, but when you book accommodation at the park you do get a 20 percent discount on entry to the Maze.
Keep an eye on the A Maze’N Things website to see if they are running any additional special deals.
Without a doubt spending time at A Maze‘N Things theme park is a must do. There are some seriously fun things to do, such as getting lost (or not) in the mirror maze. Perhaps getting your head chopped off appeals!
And what on earth is going on in the Magic Manor?
If you have a head for heights, make sure you have time to do the Sky Trail, a high ropes course. If not, stretch the legs on the Maxi Mini Golf course closer to the ground.
But what about those koalas? The Koala Conservation Centre has an elevated, pram-friendly boardwalk so you can see the koalas at tree top level. This centre is involved with the program to protect the native koala population and the bushland they need to survive so it’s a double win.
When you want something a bit special, and to taste test local foods, craft beers and local award winning wines head off to the Rusty Water Restaurant and Bar. They have a constantly menu to reflect the seasonal food, plus live music.
Phillip Island is a destination, not somewhere to just pass through, it’s an island with a vibrant community of people lucky enough to call it home. Why not work out when you have a chance to call it home for a holiday and take yourselves to A Maze‘N Things Holiday Park and Motel.
