BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park has won another award by being crowned as the winner of the Caravan & Holiday Parks category at the prestigious NSW Tourism Awards Ceremony held on Thursday 16 November 2017 which publicly recognises and showcases the State’s tourism operators.
Owners Frank and Lynda White, together with Bruce and Glenys Catto, are ecstatic with the honour of once again being recognised for excellence in tourism for their holiday park on the banks of the Edward River in Deniliquin.
“This past year we’ve further improved our park with the addition of new resort villas we personally designed, as well as installing a fun, brand new heated water slide and water bucket that complements our existing water park, Frank said.
“We’re fortunate to have a very loyal and hardworking team here and it’s because of our friendly, dynamic and progressive nature that we are able to provide the best possible holiday park experience for our valued guests.
“Many of our guests return regularly, and with the addition of our new infrastructure, we look forward to welcoming new guests to ‘come as strangers, leave as friends’.”
The park has now won this award for the 4th year in a row and means they will once again head to the Australian Tourism Awards to vie for Gold as the Best Holiday Park in Australia. An award the park won in 2015 and 2016.
As teenagers, back in the 1980’s, Frank and Lynda holidayed in the park every summer enjoying their passion of water skiing. Over the years, they saw the potential of the dirt based site with a few old caravans and tents and in 2001, together with Bruce and Glenys Catto, became the proud owners.
Working together they invested many hours of hard work into their dream until the park emerged into the hallmark destination it is today helping put the small town of Deniliquin and the Riverina region on the radar.
Located right on the banks of the magnificent Edward River in the Riverina region, BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park is a perfect destination for a memorable family holiday. The water splash park now has a giant water bucket and water slide, there’s a resort pool with beach entry, giant jumping pillow, basketball and tennis court, pedal Go-Karts, 18 hole mini golf course, BBQs, a conference/function centre and water sports and skiing facilities.
The park provides guests with a variety of accommodation including riverfront cabins, riverfront powered sites, wheel chair friendly cabins and along with ensuite and powered caravan sites, makes this ideal for all holidaymakers, including families, skiers, fishermen and travellers at an affordable price.
Deniliquin is an easy 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne, 2 hours from Bendigo and 50 minutes from Echuca.
