Sprawling grassy campgrounds suit tents and camper trailers, and there’s large powered campsites for fifth wheelers, large vans and motorhomes. There’s luxury accommodation for up to six and wheelchair-accessible cabins.

There are dump site facilities and the centrally-located, freshly renovated amenities. Plus, a family change room to clean up the kids after a swim in the pool on a hot weather.

In the cooler months, warm up alongside fellow holiday-makers at one of several communal fire-pits with free firewood supplied. And if you forget the marshmallows, fear not, find them among groceries and supplies at the kiosk on-site.

ACTIVE IN BELAIR NATIONAL PARK

There’s a lot to see and do within neighbouring Belair National Park. You’ll find abundant native flora species in the State Flora Nursery, a short stroll away.

You might even find yourself a bargain with more than 1,000 species of native species available to buy over the course of a year.

This Western Australian black pea, Kennedia Nigricians, is one of a thousand species sold at the State Flora Nursery throughout the year within Belair National Park

The 6.5km Water Fall Hike passes rocky escarpments that trickle after heavy rain. If you’re into riding, there’s also a fabulous 12km mountain bike trail called the Adventure Loop Trail.

The Adelaide Foothills caravan park is close to the grand Carrick Hill and north of the silver mine ruins within Scott Creek Conservation Park.
