To help grounded travellers affected by the COVID-19 crisis, BIG4 has extended all current BIG4 Holiday Perks+ memberships by six months.
As a result of the move, BIG4 hopes travellers can redeem their accommodation discounts in full once travel restrictions ease.
Currently, the Perks+ card discounts apply on advanced bookings at more than 190 BIG4-affiliated parks.
EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS SLATED FOR PERKS+ EXPANSION
Perks+ memberships remain active for essential travellers who qualify in the relevant jurisdiction.
And for those who don’t, BIG4 Holiday Perks+ Everyday Membership benefits and discounts still apply.
What’s more, members will soon be eligible for a new exciting discount program, with details announced soon.
“[The new initiative] will provide members … access to additional savings on essential everyday items to assist them at this time,” says BIG4 spokesperson Katie Cage.
“This is a challenging time for everyone, and we wanted to ensure that we supported our members as they have supported us,” Katie explains.
KEEPING TRAVELLERS IN THE LOOP
BIG4 is helping members plan their trips and manage their future bookings, keeping them abreast of all the latest COVID-19-related travel advice.
And to keep the camping dream alive, BIG4 is encouraging travellers to create their own ideal BIG4 holiday park in the Bring Home Your Own BIG4.
Stationed families holidaymakers can also enjoy beautiful bespoke content created by BIG4 ambassadors, The Wiggles.

“In the current climate, some of our parks are hurting quite hard,” says Katie.
“We are actively working with them to ensure that they weather this period and come out stronger than before.”
Training and support programs are assisting BIG4 park managers, owners and staff amid the closures and restrictions.
“A number of parks … [are] keen to join the BIG4 network [seeking] the level of support we are proud to offer our parks,” Katie explains.
