When you say that this park has water views, it really does have water views. Not only is it on the Bay of Plenty but it also on the spit opposite Matakana Island which shelters the Taraunga Harbour. There is water all around and some magical beaches too.
The on-site accommodation is bright and very beachy with a huge range to choose from, it all depends on how many are coming with you and your budget. When it comes to powered sites, there are around 170 on the park, with a mix of powered and unpowered. Now that’s a lot of sites.
Onsite facilities are amazing, they are so good looking and so usable. The barbecue area is by the camp kitchen and has a water feature, you would be forgiven for thinking that you are in a delightful al fresco bistro! The camp kitchen is outstanding, and there is plenty of room in the dining area too. Add in a TV, library and games room and you have just about everything you need.
For a bit of fun, when you’re not on the fabulous beaches in the area, there are pedal carts to hire, and an internet and WiFi hot spot zone.
