Casino Holiday Park is situated in the Richmond Valley on the north coast of New South Wales just a short drive to the Casino city centre and the magnificent Richmond River.
Casino is renowned as The Beef Capital of Australia and hosts Beef Week, one of the largest regional community festivals every year in the last week of May. A thriving rural centre, Casino is surrounded by beautiful rainforest national parks and has a number of historic and art deco buildings that provide fascinating viewing and can be enjoyed on the 40 minute Heritage Walk.
Theres also a wonderful walk along the Richmond River, the many beautiful parks entice you to stop and enjoy a leisurely picnic before heading to the Platypus Pool, where with a little luck and patience you may be rewarded with a glimpse of these notoriously shy creatures.
Facilities at Casino Holiday Park include an outdoor swimming pool, 9-hole golf course, camp kitchen, BBQ facilities, billiards tables and library. The park offers a variety of cabins and spacious sites large enough to accommodate a caravan, boat or recreation vehicle (RV). The park is dog friendly for camping sites only, and have an off leash area. Dogs are not allowed in cabins or ensuite sites.
Casino is an easy 2-hour drive to the Gold Coast, 3 hours to Brisbane or a 90 minute flight to Sydney from Lismore Airport.
