EXTENDED TOURING SEASON

Queensland Outback Tourism launched the 2021 Drive Outback Queensland Guide at the 2021 Outback Muster and Drive Guide Launch late February signalling an early start to the season.

“It has been a great summer for those in the Outback with the summer rains breathing even more life to the region, bringing along the spectacular Outback Queensland birdlife and wildflowers that truly are a sight to behold,” explains Queensland Outback CEO Denise Brown.

Outback Queensland encompasses 932,678km–more than two thirds of the state.

The Drive Guide provides an easy way to access and enjoy it, presenting eye-opening adventures, rich cultural experiences, beautiful landscapes and natural wonders. As well as indulgent retreats, and world class outback events topped with a generous serving of country hospitality.

“From unbeatable bakeries to coffee that’d give your suburban local a run for its money, Outback Queensland has a lot on offer, and we are looking forward to showcasing it to the rest of the state,” Denise Brown explains.

Outback Queensland Tourism Association thanks Tourism and Events Queensland, who helped fund and create the Drive Outback Queensland Guide.
