Our crews enjoyed classic FNQ fun in Innisfail at G’day August Moon Caravan Park
It was full steam ahead onwards to Innisfail for the Everything Caravan and Camping Trip of a Lifetime crew. Influencer Chris from Aussie Destinations Unknown was happy to be in this neck of the woods as he has spent so much of his childhood coming up to this part of Queensland – the real FNQ as he describes it.
Waterfalls Galore!
Our digs for this stay were the very nice G’Day August Moon Caravan Park. This delightful little park is so centrally located to all sorts of tourist attractions including beaches, waterfalls, rainforests, fishing spots and a great place for hiking.
The accommodation is all there from superior cabins right down to camping sites. And the camp kitchen was perfect for a big group like us to get together on those balmy evenings and enjoy one another’s stories of the day’s adventures.
A Neat, Clean Park
Cameron McKay, park owner, sat down with Macca to chat about park life in FNQ. He and his staff pride themselves on how clean the park is and how well kept the garden is. And it shows, the place looks immaculate. Within the park there is loads to do. The pool is spectacular and so inviting, there is a games area and the sunsets are to die for. A great park in a beautiful part of the world.
