New kitchen, games room and amenities for Wimmera Silo Art Trail caravan park unveiled!

This Holiday Season, Edenhope Lakeside Tourist Park has been busy rearranging furniture in a brand new communal facilities block–a major milestone in a $1.4-million upgrade to the holiday park.

What a stunning camp kitchen and how cosy is this lounge?

The 16.8×11.2m facility with a conjoined 13.5×5.5m camp kitchen and games room also features a new laundry, showers and toilets comprising male, female and disabled provisions.

“Providing high-quality caravan park facilities, the project will help to encourage visitors to stay longer and enjoy the surrounding arts, culture and natural attractions and allow for visitors to use the location as a base to take in many surrounding tourism attractions,” writes the West Wimmera Shire.

The Silo Art Trail, the Little Desert, Baileys Rocks and the Aboriginal Cricket Trail to name a few. It’s a major milestone in the West Wimmera Shire co-funded upgrade that will also include 10 new fully-serviced powered sites on the Lake Wallace Foreshore–expected to open May 2024.

“The 10 new sites will allow for an additional 20 to 40 people at the park per night,” council says.
