Sample van life in a Jayco Journey at Seal Rocks

Would-be vanners can camp up in luxury at Reflections Holiday Park at Seal Rocks on the NSW Mid North Coast with three new state-of-the-art Jayco Outback Journey the latest on-going improvements at the award-winning park.

Each Journey features a kitchen, gas cooktop, oven, a private bathroom, dining area and a 24in TV complemented by a large deck area with outdoor furniture and a private Weber BBQ.

Hunter Valley-based family, Carmen, George, and daughter Anastasia (6 years) were the first guests to break in a new Jayco at Seal Rocks giving the weekend experience a huge thumbs up.

“We have never had a caravanning experience before,” said Carmen.

“A lot of our friends have been doing caravanning and we thought we would dip our toes in and see what it was all about. From start to finish, the whole experience was great. We were welcomed like rock stars, and nothing was too much trouble which really set Seal Rocks apart from other parks we have been to in the past.”

MORE CABINS ON THE CARDS

Reflections Holiday Parks Seal Rocks Manager Katie Toney said the new Jayco’s were a fantastic option for families who want the full caravanning experience without the stress of hauling one on long trips or the work of storing and maintaining them at home.

“They are also a great way to try before you buy prior to committing the funds to purchase one,” Ms Toney said. “Space can be an issue as well for many families who simply don’t have the room at home for a luxury caravan of this size.”

Other improvements at the park include the newly-installed Water Treatment Plant offering fresh, drinkable water. Plus, four new cabins due to be completed this month.

Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Nick Baker said connecting people to new holiday experiences, outdoor adventures and the natural landscape was at the heart of everything Reflections stood for.

“As an organisation that facilitates the creation of unforgettable family experiences in the very best landscapes NSW has to offer, we will continue to explore ways to bring innovative accommodation options to our 37 parks.

“Our Jayco caravans bring an aspect of camping to families who previously never had that option available to them,” Mr Baker said.
