Simpson Desert Oasis still open, camping + diesel available despite blaze

Diesel is now available to Bedourie travellers, despite the recent blaze at the Simpson Desert Oasis roadhouse.

“People need to pay [for diesel] at the Simpson Desert Oasis then will be given instructions on where/how to pump the diesel as the actual pump is not at the site,” says a spokesperson for Diamantina Shire Council.
