Canton Beach Holiday Park

Stroll along beaches, savour the sunshine and cast out into Tuggerah’s waters at Canton Beach Holiday Park. Within walking distance to Toukley, it’s just one of four wonderful Central Coast Holiday Parks less than two hours from Sydney.

ON THE WATER

Canton Beach Holiday Park sits on the Tuggerah Lakes foreshore. It forms part of the 80km stretch of lakes with only one outlet to the sea. From the on-site boat ramp, punt into Budgewoi and Toukley townships or simply settle in to fish among the shallows. The waters are deep enough to sail or kayak, too, yet gentle enough for families.

YOUR STAY AT CANTON BEACH TOURIST PARK

Looking to stay in your own vehicle or tent? You’ll find plenty of flat, grassy sites in a choice of powered, non-powered and ensuites. Drive-through sites for caravans are created on request, where possible, for those who phone ahead. If you’re travelling with a four-legged friend, bring the leash and establish camp on dog-friendly campsites.

At Canton Beach Holiday Park, you can choose between one of four styles of on-site accommodation, with lovely modern amenities accommodating up to six. Spa versions and water view options are available, with all cabins offering ensuite and kitchen facilities and private, covered decks.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

The park is broken up into two main areas, with five amenities blocks including one with children’s washroom facilities to wash up after a day splashing among the shores. In fact, kids are well-catered for overall, with a jumping pillow, go-kart hire and large open playground.

Reptile shows, face painting and movie nights are just some of the highlights in the jammed-packed holiday program catering for all tastes.

Families of all kinds come together at two grassy communal barbecue areas and on the foreshore. There’s a lovely camp kitchen as well.

ACTIVE IN THE CENTRAL COAST

Within Toukley, catch a flick at the local cinema, enjoy a game of lawn bowls or stop in at one of the local coffee shops for cosmopolitan beachside R&R.

Enjoy a quiet stroll at the Sensory Gardens, hike the Wyrrabalong National Park and feed the pelicans at The Entrance, further out. And, if you really want to get the heart pumping pass rock pools towards the Norah Head Lighthouse.

Seeking to master the waterways? Book in at the Ocean Planet Kayaking Tours, whose tours include the waterways on the Central Coast. Experienced guides can tailor a tour to suit your needs and your fitness levels.

Or combine your kayaking with a ‘paddle and saddle’ tour at Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures. Ride horses and quad bikes, abseil and fish in the middle of the most glorious countryside at this gorgeous 3,000ha site.

This is a special area, and Canton Beach Holiday Park has just what you need to let you enjoy it all at your leisure.
