Home to several native bird species, the park is close to all town facilties and is the perfect spot to base yourself while planning the next stage of your adventure in our wonderful outback region. While you’re staying with us, why not visit the ‘Cunnamulla Fella’ Tourist centre, learn about artesian water at the Artesian Time Tunnel or take a relaxing stroll along the Warrego River. Cunnamulla is ideally located at the crossroads of the Matilda and Adventure Highways and forms part of the Opal Byway, a sealed route that takes to Longreach via Quilpie – a fantastic way to explore the Channel Country at a more relaxed pace. In the peak season Saturday night sausage sizzles to raise money for charity and Happy hour camp fires every night weather permitting.
