Just a lazy 13 hour drive north of Perth is the glorious Coral Coast Region and one of the most enjoyable places to stay is this Exmouth caravan park, RA Exmouth Cape Holiday Park.
In fact, during our stay everyone we came across was having an absolutely joyful time. And why wouldn’t you? You’re in a holiday park that has exceptional facilities, that can accommodate the biggest rig through to the back-packer’s lodgings and everything in-between.
There was a real “vibe” in this park. We were all there to experience the wonderful Coral Coast and the treasures it bestows.
A park lagoon pool really sets the holiday scene at RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park. Here, cool off or kick back in the sunshine Facebooking your friends, courtesy of the free Wi-Fi on-site. Or work up a sweat on the volleyball court while the kids run ragged on the playground.
Then, sate your appetite, tongs in hand, on the grassy barbecue area or within the well-equipped camp kitchen. Prepare communal meals on long stainless steel benches with barbecues.
If you’re towing a caravan or camper trailer, or lodging in your own motorhome or tent, establish camp on your choice of flat shaded campsite.
Powered sites come in a choice of surfaces with ensuite and long sites available for larger rigs. The non-powered sites equally please, with most beneath shade and close to amenities.
Then, after a long day out on the reef, come together with and enjoy a flick at Outdoor Cinema.
Let’s face it, the location is pretty special. Just one kilometre south of Exmouth town centre and a only a 10 minute walk away from the beach.
Four-wheel-drivers can access shimmering white sand via Warne Street and Willersdorf Road.
And you can navigate about easily via a bike path direct from the park, with on-site bike hire available. While you’re at it, why hit reception for hot spots and snorkel hire and explore the fertile seas?
Or, enjoy a broader view at the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse overlooking Surfers Beach.
Timing your trip with the annual whale shark migration? Head to the dock for deeper underwater exploration of the magnificent, colourful Ningaloo Reef.
Kings Ningaloo Reef Tours know exactly where to take you, and will guide you on how to go about making the most out of your trip.
And if you’re not driving and prefer to fly in–no problem, Exmouth Cape Holiday Park is easily accessible from the shuttle bus service that runs between Learmonth Airport and Exmouth.
So to wrap up – great accommodation, great location, great staff and great guests!
