Sheltered within Boulder Bay, the waves at Tathra Beach suit families and novice borders, with Tathra Beachside co-hosting bodyboarding and stand-up paddle lessons. 

Your fur friends aren’t forgotten either, with a dog wash, pet food for sale at reception, pet-friendly cabins and cottages plus the dog-friendly Tathra Beach metres away. Reception can recommend the very best in vet services and doggie daycare if your loved one requires more care.

CAMPING ESSENTIALS

Tathra Beachside Holiday Park offers the perfect camp, no matter your preferred method of stay with dump sites and LPG. There are large sites suitable for motorhome and fifth wheelers travellers, slab sites available for caravans, as well as room for tents and camper trailers. There’s also a supermarket open till five most nights and seven on Sunday’s a five minute’s drive away.

FOOD AND FUN IN TATHRA

You’ll enjoy a decent feed at the Tathra Hotel famed for its seafood and Italian cuisine.

Or break at sweat on Tathra Beach and Bike Enduro with more than 50km of dirt bike trails through farmland, beach and mountain terrain. Boaties are also spoiled for choice with two boat ramps nearby.

TOURIST HOTSPOTS ON THE NSW SOUTH COAST

To the south there’s the delightful Bournda National Park, with a lagoon, heathland and coastal. Tathra is also close to the Bega Cheese factory and 20 minutes Potorro Palace in Merimbula.
